i had brunch with nick and steph today
We made waffles (from a mix, ha) with whipped cream and strawberries. But the best part is how super-random our conversations are whenever we’re together. I’m pretty sure we went from talking about bananas to sex jokes we didn’t understand in sixth grade to Catcher in the Rye.
Nick is going to do so well in New York. I always feel like he’s so confined being in Klamath Falls when he is bursting with so much creativity. A lot of things he would have to say wouldn’t be appreciated by Klamath :)
Stephanie needs out of her house. Badly. She’s never been allowed to be on her own because her parents shelter her so much. Going across the country will be good for her. Vermont is the perfect mix of hippie and yuppie for her too, so I’m sure she’ll be happy.
Nick’s been my best friend since we were about three weeks old (well, I guess he’s two weeks older, haha) and Stephanie and I have been friends since seventh grade. It’s so weird that we won’t be able to hang out and carry out our silly plans like we did in high school.
